First Day of Kindergarten!

I have been dreading this day for months! I know it's a part of life and I am so excited for him, because he's excited, but I just feel like the time between his birth and his first day of school just went by way too quickly and I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I could have! But nonetheless, it arrived anyhow.  And here are a few photos I capture of the big day!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge - Make a Splash!

 

What a fun challenge to allow folks to show their photos of all the fun in the sun being had this summer as we all "make a splash" in the water! This is a recent photo of my squishy little guy...he had more fun dumping a bucket of water on himself than he did in the pool! Oh, 18 month olds and the simple things that amuse them! :)

"P" Family

This family holds a special place in my heart...I've known most of them since they were just small children.  They have been through some of the most heart-wrenching times, but have managed to smile and find the joy in life through it all. They were so much fun! Lots of laughs were had by all of us! And I am truly blessed to be able to witness such heartfelt moments with my clients....this was definitely one of those sessions!

 

 

"M" Family



Holy beautiful family!!!  I could just feel the love from this family behind my lens. You can just tell by looking at them that they are all best friends...and isn't that what true family is all about? It was just a joy to capture them in theses special moments.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge- All Boy!!

Having 2 boys, I have lots of "All Boy" moments in my life! :) I had a tough time choosing which one I wanted to share.  But I finally decided on this one...a sweet moment captured of my two little grubby boys, playing in the dirt, having a sweet moment! It's photos and moments like this that make my heart smile!  (I should add that moments after this photo, 5 yr old boy dumped an entire bucket of dirt on 1 yr old boy's head.....oy!!!)

Sometimes combined families can be hard...but this family makes it look so easy and fun!  I truly had a blast photographing them!  They are funny, silly and just really great people.  The kids were a riot...always making funny faces and just being kids!  God knew what he was doing when He brought them all together!
