Kid Cuteness!

Over the time that I've been photographing children, I've accumulated some pretty adorable shots that I just love!  They bring a smile to my face and my heart every time I look at them!  What is more precious than kids being so innocent and sweet?!    Here are just a few that I wanted to share.  You just have to say "awwwwwww" when you look at them!!! :)

1 year old!

He came, he saw, he smeared cake all over!!  Those of us with children know all about the infamous 1st birthday party!!!  Little ones aren't really into opening gifts besides getting the occasional cool toy, which then has to practically be removed from the box with a crow bar, and kind of takes away the coolness factor because the wait becomes too much for them.  But give them that cake and let them go to town and it's the best moment of their new little lives!!!  I had so much fun capturing a few of those cakey moments for my friend's son, Landin!  :)

He's got his eye on the prize!

Guess he figures since he couldn't have the cake, he might as well eat the plastic cover!! :)

The cake....pre-demolition!

"Not really interested in the whole candle thing, but let me at that cake!!!!"

Squishy!!

 "I've created a masterpiece!!!"

The cake...post-demolition! :)

Big family...lots of love!

They wanted something laid back and comfortable with Christmas charm, so I went to their home and was welcomed as one of their own family members!  What a loving family!  I had the joy of capturing some beautiful moments from behind my lens that day....

Forever Young

As he grows up ever so quickly, I can't help but become a bit saddened by how fast time just seems to be flying by.  I know that sounds cliche, but it's oh so true!  And as I think of him growing up, the Bob Dylan song comes to mind.  Here is a small tribute to my little guy.....

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you

May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you

May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be stong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift

May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
