Of course I'm a proud mama and sieze every opportunity to photograph my son, in order still frame his childhood, but I have also been photographing on a more professional level for just over 2 years. My business is small and personal, and I enjoy it that way! My focus is lifestyle on-location photography...be it at your home, outdoors in nature or at your favorite hang-out place! (the thing I hate the most is trying to force a kid to smile in some over-priced, stuffy studio...I've been there and done that with my own kid and don't want other people to have to go through it!!) The majority of my subjects are children...capturing their unique personalities and just letting them have fun while I do it! I believe that each and every child is beautiful...God made them all perfect in His own design and I love showing that through my photos. Their souls shine so wonderfully through their laughs and through their bright, wide eyes...and I make it a point to capture that in my photos! And witnessing that from behind my lens is so inspiring to me and it's something that I consider a huge honor in being able to do. In addition to children, I also do family photography. There is something so special to be able to capture the love of a family through photos. It makes my heart smile to witness the love in a family. I also do Senior portraits...capturing those last fleeting moments of childhood before they spread their wings and fly into adulthood!
