This young lady was amazing!!!  Not only is she a dancer, but she is also bright, beautiful, fun and energetic! I truly had a wonderful time photographing her.  The camera loves her and her beautiful, fun-loving spirit was shining!!  As she embarks on an exciting new time in her life, I wish her nothing but the best!  I know there are many great things in store for this lovely young lady in the future!!!

R Wedding

My first, only and last wedding!! It's not that I don't enjoy witnessing and capturing true love from behind my lens, it's just that I choose to do it in a non-wedding setting!!! :)  It was very stressful for me...I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for them!  And I just can't handle that kind of stress!  I will leave it up to the true wedding photographers!  I did this as a favor for a friend, and I enjoyed being witness to such a beautiful evening for the happy couple, but next time, I will just sit in the pews with everyone else!!! lol  With all that being said, I must say that the bride and groom were truly a beautiful couple and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Nevada and one of my favorite families!

I recently took a trip to Nevada to visit my sister and her family.  It did my soul good to spend time with family in such a beautiful place. These are just a few of the photos from that trip!

 

 

 

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge- Friendship

As a pre-curser to this image, please let me explain. I don't normally bring my son along to photo shoots with me, but I did on this particular occasion...I was photographing my good friend's little guy, we were at a nature park, my sitter backed out at the last minute and my friend didn't mind.  My son did surprisingly well by behaving himself and staying out of the photos, considering he was only 2 1/2 at the time.  This image was captured at the end of the session, just as I told my son that it was ok to go see baby Landin...and this is the result of that!  He loves little Landin and just wanted to give him a kiss!  This image makes my heart smile every time I see it! I hope that he and Landin are as close of friends as me and Landin's mommy are!
