Ah, these boys were crazy and fun!!! They kept me running after them and on my toes at every moment! (but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!) They remind me so much of my own little stinker! What a fun session!

All Boy!!! I Heart Faces Photo Challenge
What a great way to celebrate not only fathers, but all of the boys in our lives! When I saw the theme for this month's challenge, I knew immediately which photo I was going to use.
This is my little super hero...in more ways than you might expect from simply looking at this photo. Not only is he cute, and silly, and funny, and ornery (as all little boys are), and loves to wear superhero costumes and giggles over all things having to do with farting, burping, butts or pee-pees :)..he is also thoughtful, kind and so caring for a 3 year old. He is always so giving to those around him, he talks of wanting to make the world a better place and he would hug a complete stranger just to make them feel better. So while he is my little superhero for the obvious reason in this photo, he is also my little superhero for making the world a better place by just being in it...for making others around him want to be better people because they know him...and most importantly, for inspiring me each and every day to be more like him and see the world the way he sees it! I love you, Spiderman!!! :)

"Hey Girl"- I Heart Faces Photo Challenge
I just have to say that I LOVE the theme of this month's challenge! It's a wonderful way to show how beautiful all girls are...no matter what size or what age they are! Girl power, unite!!! :)
I recently had the joy of capturing this little beauty in a session with her adorable little sister. She was so serious and shy at first, but she ended up warming up to me and my camera. This is the first shot of the day....she put her hands up to her face like this in a lot of the photos I took. Is this her future modeling pose? Perhaps!! :)

Ronnie- Senior 2012
My dear friend, who's family has been to hell and back this year, called me 3 days prior to a deadline asking if I could possibly take some senior portraits of her son so that he could turn his head shots into the yearbook. I had been wanting to do something for her family and just never knew what to do, so this was my chance!! It was a rush (to say the least) and I didn't get to plan it out how I had wanted, but it was still special. He is a wonderful young man...smart, talented, kind and truly an inspiration as he has overcome so many obstacles in his young life. It was my pleasure to be able to capture these for him!
Rise and Shine...it's Easter morning!!
It has been our little family tradition to go on an Easter egg hunt on Easter morning. I attend our church's sunrise service at 7am and then rush home to hide eggs before our little guy wakes. When he does get up, it's a mad dash to the yard to find eggs. It's special moments like this that make my heart happy!! :) While the true meaning of Easter is to celebrate the risen Savior who freed us from sin, it's still nice to have little family times like this too.
Easter morning bed head :)
Humpty Dumpty?
He found one!!
He spotted one!
There they are!!
This one had a dollar in it!! :)
Landin- Easter 2012
I have had the joy of capturing this little guy since birth and it has been a wonderful experience to see him grow up from behind my lens! He is a sweet little guy and I enjoy the time I get to spend with him at these sessions or just for a playdate!!! :)
